I had this clipping for many years. Who am I kidding? I kept the letters for
a long time. I missed the first two months of school that year, and was so
happy to get back to Washington School and finally begin 6th grade in Mr.
Kegler’s class.

Saw this picture last week in Maggie Lee’s column in the northfield news. Doesn’t seem possible that it was 50 years ago.
